Workshop on Tame Expansions of O-minimal Structures
Konstanz, October 1-4, 2018

Organizers:

Pantelis Eleftheriou (Konstanz), Philipp Hieronymi (UIUC)

The goal of this workshop is to bring together model theorists who work on tame expansions of o-minimal structures and enable them to communicate their latest developments on the subject. Three main lines of focus will be classification (tame vs non-tame), structure theorems (cone decompositions), and potential applications (definable groups, counting theorems, etc). Specific tame settings of interest will include expansions with o-minimal open core, d-minimal structures, H-structures, lovely pairs, RCVFs, CODFs, and general NIP.

We plan to run the workshop on an Oberwlfach-style format, where all participants will be considered for giving talks and the program will be decided as the workshop progresses.

The workshop is funded by the Zukunftskolleg and the International Office of the University of Konstanz.
